Creating Confidence One Stitch
at a Time
Hi, I'm Melissa—the creator behind Naturally, MelissaMade, founder of The Hook Nook, and dreamer of the Purple Peacock Bus.
As a homeschooling mom, homesteader, crochet educator, and handmade artisan, I've discovered the incredible power creativity has to bring peace, confidence, and connection.
What began as a simple hobby became my sanctuary, inspiring a business and community dedicated to helping others experience the therapeutic benefits of crochet one stitch at a time.

There's always something new happening at Naturally, MelissaMade! From handmade creations and crochet classes to live events and community challenges, here's what's on the hook this week.

Everything we create is Handmade With Purpose
Everything we do is rooted in the belief that creativity can be healing. Through mindful making, meaningful projects, and acts of kindness, we use crochet as a tool to reduce stress, foster connection, and create a little more joy in the world.

"Learning crochet with Melissa brought a whole new kind of confusion into my life—but in the best way possible! There were plenty of laughs, a few moments that felt like an Olympic workout, and just about every emotion in between. The biggest lesson? Don't give up. Redo the stitch, take a breath, and start again. You'll be glad you did."
Sonia B.

"You're never too old to learn something new! Melissa was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging as she guided me through the ins and outs of crochet. Even when I was a challenge, she never gave up on me. She truly is an amazing teacher."
Sabrina W.
"Miss Melissa taught me a lot in such a short time. It was so fun learning to crochet with her!"
