Why I Created The Hook Nook
There was a time when crochet was simply something I did.
A hobby.
A creative outlet.
A way to make beautiful things with my hands.
But somewhere along the way, I discovered it was so much more.
Crochet became a place of peace during stressful seasons. It became a source of confidence when I doubted myself. It became a way to connect with others, share stories, and create something meaningful one stitch at a time.
What started with yarn and a hook became a reminder that progress matters more than perfection.
And that realization is what inspired The Hook Nook.

The Hook Nook wasn't created to be just another place to learn crochet.

Crochet Changed My Life
Like many people, I've experienced seasons of stress, uncertainty, overwhelm, and self-doubt.
During those moments, I often found myself reaching for my crochet hook.
Not because I needed to finish a project.
Because I needed to slow down.
There is something powerful about creating with your hands. The rhythm of stitching. The focus required to count stitches. The satisfaction of watching something grow row by row.
Crochet taught me patience.
It taught me resilience.
