This fall, Naturally, MelissaMade is proud to support the Paul Leeder Project, a local nonprofit serving the homeless and less fortunate right here in our small county.
Through October 31, our Halloween fundraiser friends, Paulie the Opossum and Freddie the Fish, are helping turn yarn into something bigger. 60% of every Paulie and Freddie sale is donated directly to the Paul Leeder Project to support their mission of feeding, clothing, teaching life skills, and helping our neighbors move toward a brighter future.
Because sometimes handmade really can make a difference.

Hi, I'm Melissa—the creator behind Naturally, MelissaMade, founder of The Hook Nook, and dreamer of the Purple Peacock Bus.
As a homeschooling mom, homesteader, crochet educator, and handmade artisan, I've discovered the incredible power creativity has to bring peace, confidence, and connection.
What began as a simple hobby became my sanctuary, inspiring a business and community dedicated to helping others experience the therapeutic benefits of crochet one stitch at a time.

What's On My Hook
My hooks are BUSY this month!
Fall event season is here, which means I am building up plenty of fun, seasonal, sensory, and squishy makes for my upcoming events. You can follow along with everything coming off my hook in my Getting Ready for Fall Event Season blog.
But event inventory is only part of what is keeping my hooks moving! Poppy Troll is still underway, and you can follow Poppy’s progress here. I am also getting ready to bring October’s Comfort Companion to life, starting some new display baskets for my event setup, and, of course, working my way through custom orders.
There is a whole lot of yarn turning into something around here, so keep checking back to see what comes fresh off the hook next!
