A Clean Sweep: Custom Crochet Mop Covers
Not every custom crochet order is a blanket, plush friend, or decorative piece. Sometimes, it is something completely practical!
This order was for a set of reusable crochet mop covers made especially for dusting. The customer gave me plenty of creative freedom, with only one very important request:
No pink!
Practical Can Still Be Fun
With pink officially removed from the possibilities, I selected colors that would give each mop cover a little personality while still making them perfect for everyday use.
The textured crochet stitches help collect dust, hair, and everyday debris as the covers move across the floor. Once the cleaning is finished, they can be removed, washed, and used again.
A Handmade Solution for Everyday Life
I love creating beautiful keepsakes, but I also enjoy making items that solve an everyday problem. These mop covers may not be the most glamorous custom order, but they were useful, reusable, and surprisingly fun to make.
Custom crochet does not always have to sit on a shelf or wait for a special occasion. Sometimes, it rolls up its sleeves and helps clean the house!
And most importantly, these custom mop covers were made exactly as requested...
Without a single stitch of pink.
